I gave this to my mechanic who said that it was easy to install. I feel a big difference in my car’s AC which I’m really happy about. He said he didn’t notice a difference between the OEM and this one. I would definitely recommend it. I used it on my 2009 Corolla

This part fits the 2017 Rav4, same dimensions as the original and almost the same readings of resistance on an ohmmeter. Seems well made, cannot comment on function nor on durability: I just got it, and it is summer around here, no way could I put this through the paces for now.
There is a clear marking on the plastic base stating “Do not repair” – better take note, no room for improvising with such a part, too risky as this may start a fire from any less-than-perfect connection.
The reason I got this has to do with an old happening, when my car heating just blew up in a real cold winter day, and basically the car became unusable just because windows would fog instantly and obstruct visibility. Ever since, I have spares for the parts most prone to render the heating unusable. So, if the car heat quits on me the way it did, first thing in the morning, I will have the parts handy to fix it in a hurry, so that I may be late at work for the morning but arrive safely.
