Otherwise you’ll likely break/damage the new squirrel cage.
This fan is noisy even brand new and put in correctly. But it works I guess.

The blower is assembled out of balance. The cage is on lopsided, the motor is not insulated as the factory one is and is open to the underside of the cage. It shakes and it’s going back. I don’t recommend
