I love this for quick tack cleanings. I’ve also used it to wipe down the leather seats in my car to good effect. For my tack and boots, I supplement with a more-heavy duty conditioner afterwards every few cleans as I live in an arid climate and this isn’t quite strong enough as a conditioner/balm on its own. However, the ease of use — without making my hands too nasty, too dried out, or smell funny — makes this indispensable for daily/weekly cleaning.

I use this on a leather couch, lounge chair and coffee table. Honestly this does a better job than any other product I have tried. Application is easy and cleanup is next to nothing. Really softens and cleans the leather. After the first time I had used it I was amazed at all the color that came back out of the leather. Looks brand new everytime. I do a full treatment about once every 3 months or so just because I like how soft it keeps the leather. For basic interior use and cleaning you could probably get away with using less.

I love this stuff I’ve had some pretty bad looking leather saddles snd bridles that I was going to throw away! I seen this stuff and figured worth a try and it’s amazing it brings the life right back into the leather makes it beautiful and soft again! It’s very thick cream so little goes along way! No smell to it.

The title says it all. This is a really good product and will soften and protect your leather. I rehabbed an older western saddle with it and it looks like a totally different saddle. If you need the product quickly try ordering it directly from Absorbine.

got it quick. easy to use. I had a leather jacket that sat in my leaking truck for months, brought it in and let it dry out. leather was not cracking but the jacket was stiff as a board and had dried mildew and crap all over it. this stuff cleaned it and re-hydrated the leather and the jacket cleaned up nicely completely saving the jacket!

I have use just about every kind of leather cleaner and conditioner for my saddles, bridles, halters and boots for the last 30 years. I’ve purchased the high-end, imported German products and some work well but they are a two-step process. you need to buy the cleaner and then the conditioner and separate tags or sponges. This Product is amazing! One step cleans and conditions and revitalizes leather and puts a shine on everything. Makes the bridles so much softer. The fact that it cleans and moisturizes will make all of my expensive tack last longer. I have a black dressage saddle and it doesn’t fade the color like some other tack cleaners.
Regarding the comment by a person who thought it was too messy because it got into the grooves – all you have to do is take a rag and run your finger nail along the groove in the leather to remove the excess. It’s not a problem. It is important to keep the seams of a leather item conditioned because that’s where it’s going to tear or deteriorate if you don’t. And this product reaches it if you put enough on the rag. Not rocket science 😀
