Don’t waste money, lasts about an hour, replacing flex pipe right way now.

This worked as a temporary fix until I could bet a proper replacement. For the money it’s a very short section and it’s barely enough for a simple repair. The quality isn’t as good as I’d like. Although it sticks well the material is very thin and ultimately not a great value.

I used this tape to seal a zombiebox exhaust extension on a 12kw generator. The extension is clamped in place, but the clamps left some exhaust leaking. The extension is installed -after- the muffler. It’s not even part of the exhaust ducting… Looked good after installation and was sealing well.
After maybe 10 hours of run time, I noticed it was leaking again. Pulled off the mineral wool insulation I have over the extension and found that the tape was black and crispy. Burnt pieces of tape were falling off.

I can buy huge rool for the same price. Besides, this is not as thick as they say .. don’t waist your money.
