This magnetic phone mount is really, really strong. I’m specifically talking about the side that’s meant to attach to your magnetic surface. That one is very very strong. The one that goes on the back of your phone to attach it to the mount is good enough but nowhere near as strong as the magnet that fixes the mount itself to the surface. It is really easy to use and the nut that keeps the phone side of the mount arranged how you like stronger than it is on other similar products. I like this one comes with an extra magnetic ring for the overly cautious people like me who don’t think they’re magic phone would have just stuck to the mount safely or just for those people who don’t take their phone case off because that’s also me. When you’re done using it, it’s really easy to just pull your phone right off of it without worrying about breaking any of the components. You might have to use a little muscle to get off of the surface though the magnet is really really strong. I know I said that before, but I’m just trying to drive the point home : this magnetic phone mount is small but mighty.

Strong sturdy phone mount. Securely fastens to metal and safely holds your phone.
I use it for driving a school bus, and with the potholes and hard bumps has not fallen or dropped my phone.
Once fastened, you can then adjust the angle of your phone and that doesn’t slip either. 10/10

The A2C Foldable Arm Gym Magnetic Phone Holder for MagSafe offers a solid method for attaching a phone to gym equipment, tables, or any other metal surface. The strength of the magsafe magnet is up to expectations and in line with other such magsafe accessories I own. It grips my magsafe compatible case well, but includes an extra ring just in case the user’s case isn’t compatible. I will comment that this ring cold have simply been a thin strip of metal, but instead is rather thick and will bulge off the back of a case if applied.
While the range of motion is pretty good, I would have preferred it if the ball allowed for at least one angle to approach 90 degrees. Other similar type of mountings I have used have the ball attached to a curved stem rather than a straight one which allows the ball to be rotated into a position that permits a greater angle.
Adjusting and locking the rotation involves screwing down a plastic ring around the main rotation ball. This seems to work well enough, and can be made quite tight to the point the device won’t rotate freely, but It does feel a bit fragile and I’d be afraid of over-tightening it.
Overall, it does it’s job and at the very least is a secure means of attaching your phone to a metallic surface such as a piece of gym equipment or a refrigerator when cooking.

This magnetic phone holder works great! The mounting magnet is nice and strong, and the MagSafe side works well to hold my phone. I could never find a good enough place for my phone while at the gym. Not all my leggings have pockets, and if I’m watching something while working out, I don’t want to keep it in a pocket anyway. Propping the phone up didn’t always work either. But this magnetic holder has been a game changer! It sticks to any magnetic surface I’ve tried and stays nice and secure.

Best quality ever, I do lot of videos while working out and needed it something to attach to the machines and this magnetic holder is very strong. You can’t go wrong with this.

This is my 3rd magnetic phone holder I’ve tried and my favorite so far. I use it in my garage gym to listen to music or watch videos on my phone while working out. This one has strong magnets that stick the holder firmly to my garage refrigerator and stick to phone to the holder just right so that the holder never pops off of the refrigerator and holds the phone firmly enough that it won’t fall off by accident but is easy enough to pull from the holder when you want to. I like that it sticks out a little further from the mounting surface (refrigerator) than my other mounts so you can get your hand behind it easily to grab the phone. I also like the color/style of it; my second favorite one is a Marcy brand but i don’t love that the Marcy is bright red rather than a simple clean look like this one. My phone case is made for mag-safe mounts but in case yours is not, this also comes with a very thin metal ring that presumably can be put inside your case (double-sided tape on it) to make the mount work with your case.
