Took 10 minutes to replace. No longer getting hit in the head is a big plus. Only differences is slightly cosmetic. The actuator arm instead of being chrome like the original the replacement is black. Personally, I like the black better.

I recently purchased this product for my Lexus IS 300 Convertible and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It fits perfectly and the quality is top-notch and installation was a breeze.

Slightly larger than the original so possibly indicative of better strength? In any case made the Lexus vert trunk a bit easier to handle. It’s a large heavy trunk lid with a hardtop convertible so wasn’t expecting too much.

Works on the convertible, slide the latch don’t pry the latch the screwdriver is used to push forward from the connector. For ISC brace trunk and then start with the lower mount first for an easier time. Does make the hood feel lighter and is night and day better than the worn out ones they replaced.

I installed these 2 weeks ago and fits perfectly with my 2011 Lexus IS250C. I don’t understand some reviews which states it doesn’t fit and it is chunk, unless they installed them in a different vehicle, aside from the suppliers recommendation.
My trunk gate doesn’t fall close by itself anymore.

The retailer had a great price but the wrong lift support model in their catalog. 1 end is cup the other end is not. This was returned and the retailer refunded quickly.. I have purchased other lift support and it did fit perfect and still working 3 years later.
