These are an exact fit for the HHR rear liftgate. They are simple to install. I would recommend have a second person hold the liftgate up for you during the installation process because the rear door is very heavy. I would also suggest adding a drop or two of oil to the mounting posts. They restore the liftgate to its original level. Just don’t stand in the way when you open the liftgate or you will get hit when it opens. It will also take some extra strength to close it with the new lifts installed. Very pleased.
