I eventually got tired of my original struts failing and having my tailgate fall and hit me in the head. Recieved these from Amazon within 2 days and installed easy. Solved the problem and work great.

Slightly longer than the OEM struts. I have a power lift gate and since they were longer and VERY stiff and strong. My power lift gate would not close by itself. I had to assist it down.
However… that was in the cold winter. Since they have been installed for a while the struts have softened up and now the gate works great. No need to help it along. I recommend trying to compress them a few times prior to installation.
They are very easy to install. Overall pretty good for the price. Just know there may be a bit of a break in period because of how stiff they are.

Poor fitting. Not the same as OEM. The force required to close the glass window is too much and feels like the glass could break. You also hear crackling sounds when closing due to the poor fitting. I decided to remove and put the old worn ones back to protect the glass. I tried on both 2008 Armada LE and 2012 Armada Platinum.
