Works great. Easy install. Saved us at least $1,500 dollars vs going to dealer.

Perfect match for my 2013 X5. Installed in about an hour with the help of a couple of YouTube videos. Only minor gotcha is there’s a right and a left, installed so the wires face in towards the tailgate window and so the connectors match – one side has white connectors the other black. It’s also easier of you install the struts so the tailgate stays open, then run the wires.
My BMW dealer quoted $2,498 to replace these – couldn’t be happier!

It worked! Straight forward install. Will update if fail prematurely. Remember to clear any maintenance codes with obdii scanner after install if not working.

Very straight forward installation on my 2009 X5, about 1 hr depending. Works perfectly, very smooth and quiet. I saved a bundle on purchase and the insane quote from Garage of $380 – $450 got installation.
Cristian Ilie –
Installed both of them those days. Is easy to install if you pull a cable, rope, when removing the old one cable though inside the door.
Mark Roberts –
I installed this product and the fit/finish exceed expectations. They work perfect, smooth operation and the highest quality material.

Exact fit for our 2012 BMW X5. I replaced both struts, I didn’t need to have the vehicle reprogrammed for these struts. Quality seems to be good.

I have purchased this item for a BMW X5 E70 and followed the reviews online. The BMW dealer part costs about $1,800.00 for the pair. After the installation the new shocks worked like the original from the dealer and looked very neat in its place. The wiring of the part is no comparison to the dealer’s part. The electrical wiring looks more inferior, and the grade was not the same. Nevertheless, it isn’t noticeable unless you really compared them. Now, my truck is functioning nicely with the new after-market part.
American Dude –
Works as advertised, saved me a ton of money too!
