Item came quickly and was exactly what I needed for the right side(passenger) rear door latch for my 2006 Ford F150.

This was exactly what I needed to do a repair myself. It was straightforward, I used a YouTube video tutorial on step by step guide on how to do it. It works well with no issues. I did call the dealer for a price quote , it was $300.00 plus to do repair on 2010 F150. The cost of the part and my time was easier on my wallet.

Would have been good to have some instructions. Had to find a YouTube video. After installing the door still sticks but I can at least open it.

Fixed my trucks rear door in about 15 minutes. Did require a minor tension adjustment which took all of 30 seconds. Just test functionality before putting all the door panels back!

The release cable has a plastic header connecting the cable to the door latch. It is the plastic part that wears out and eventually fails. The replacement part (from China) is a great fit HOWEVER, it also has a plastic header connecting the release latch. So sooner or later this cable will fail !! You can fix this issue by ordering …

And yes, the metal replacements work great however, in my case the cable itself was crimped and would not slide up and down properly to release the door.
I can honestly say I would highly recommend this product to fix a broken door latch !! It works.
