Works great after getting 2 other ones for wrong vehicle , but it’s all good

At about 1/4 the price of OEM, it does its job! The build was really solid and the action of opening and closing the window is smooth. The only thing I can say negatively is that it is not as “finished” as OEM. The stamping still has some rough/sharp edges but hey… It’s inside the door. Just be careful installing as its easy to cut yourself on especially the sight space of inside a door frame. Do yourself a favor and wear some mechanic gloves. Bought same brand for my daughters 2005 X5 and that one worked perfectly also. Will buy again if needed for other side. If anyone knows BMW’s, its just a matter of time before replacing these.

This is the correct part for a 2002 BMW coupe or convertible (no upper window frame). Amazon site is wrong and currently says “This does not fit your: 2002 BMW 330Ci”, which is incorrect.
This is an exact replacement for BMW OEM # 51338229106 (Dorman # 749-745), front right, passenger side regulator. Coupes or convertibles buy this one https://amazon.com/gp/product/B01I9B1QCW/ and do not mistakenly buy this one https://amazon.com/gp/product/B01I82Z5M4/ , which is for the sedan models.

Was identical to OEM. I used this window regulator on my 2002 BMW 330ci convertible. Drivers window for years at highway speeds would not roll up into rear channel of convertible top. Would have to roll down rear window first, then roll up front window to make both windows seal again at highway speeds. Took apart door panel to find that a 1 cent green plastic piece was broken off that can not be purchased alone anywhere! This window regulator did the trick. I’ll update if needed. Also you may have to adjust. If so you do it from outside of door, not inside. Take mid panel exterior door trim off with plastic tool and lower window approximately 1/3rd. Place painters tape on window to mark level at rubber rain sweep because you will be rolling window up and down to adjust window. loosen E6 or E7 torx bolts adjust window left and right. Lower door 98% and take door plugs off bottom. Torx 25 will adjust high/low for front and back of window. You have to fish really hard to find good YouTube videos on this adjustment.

This window regulator doesn’t work well with coupes I have a 2001 bmw 330ci the window will not sit properly when rolling the window up it hits the roof line trim above the door instead of properly going into the window track and cant be adjusted
Dax Bosnich –
replacement needed some fine adjustment to make the window go up straight but the product itself was perfect. It did make the window go up faster. I just wished i didn’t have to reuse the motor since the old motor worked extra hard using broken tracks….

The product description states it will fit 2000-2006 M3, but the Amazon page vehicle fitment guide indicates it does not. The product fit and works as expected. Search the BMW forums for all the info on how to perform the removal and replacement. It’s easier than it looks.
Replaced original driver door regulator (16 years old, 69,000 miles) that had a broken cable. I hesitated to buy this non-familiar named brand product, but it appears of high quality and very similar to the OEM regulator at 1/5 the price. Electric motor swapped exactly, glass tilt-in adjuster worked like the original. Glass installed centered but a little high toward the rear and would hit the roof trim upon closing. Two turns of the rear adjuster counter clockwise lowed the glass for perfect fit. Rained that day and the next with no leaks. I count 5 seconds to raise the passenger door window with original BMW regulator, I count just slightly more than 5 seconds to raise the driver’s door with this new regulator. The front glass mount comes with the proper screw but you must reuse the original rear mount screw. Remember those screws turn opposite (left hand – righty loosie, lefty tighty ) when turning from the door panel side. The most difficult part of the swap was disconnecting/re-installing the remote side view mirror controller connector from the door panel and removal of the foam water-shield from the sticky black adhesive to access inside the door. The regulator swap is five minutes of the entire job. There are no unusual noises, clicks, grinds or stalls, just smooth operation. I would buy again if/when the opposite side fails.
