Top pulley seems to want to stick. I can see this wearing out over a short time. But cheap if you need the window to stay shut.

my 1998 BMW’s rear window control just stopped working one day. I bought this product and had it installed. it works very well. this purchase saved me a lot of money compared to having it replaced by a dealer or a mechanic.

It fits and works great on the right rear window regulator. Took some times to remove the old regulator, since it is broken and stuck at top position.

Good window regulator but definitely a complicated process to replace. I’ve done a lot of window repairs and this one requires taking apart the window frame and seals….look at YouTube before you do this job!

I have a 2000 E39 m5 and it does the job. Easy to install with no mods. Only Complaint I have is, it’s slower then OEM. For the price and over night shipping I’ll be just fine taking 5 more seconds to roll up the window. I hardly roll down the passager rear window.

If you need a rear door regulator for your e39 (5 series 1996-2003) this is the one, product feels high quality and the motor seems strong. I don’t have notes on longevity yet, but it’s certainly better than having a saggy or broken window.
If you decide to buy an alternative MAKE SURE it has the motor disconnected from the rail. Otherwise it will not work.
