The power steering pump was defective and not returnable because of time frame constraints and would not recommend purchasing this item based on my experience

Fit perfect but the pulley was a little larger than the factory one.
Had to get a different belt.

The pressure line does not fit for 2 reasons as follows
1. the locking bolt is a smaller diameter and located much closer to the oil line (refer photo 1).
2. the locking plate has a raised spigot that is a bigger diameter than the matching location on the pump.
Photo 2 is the original pump showing a sensible location for the bolt (a good working distance from the tube. The pump fitted onto the engine OK, and the return line fitted OK…..but the pressure line could not be made (or modified) to fit. 4 hrs of mechanics labour wasted to put it on, take it off and return the original noisy pump = $500.

Day one review, perfect fit and the steering is now light as a feather. Seriously a 3 week old kitten could steer this monster truck of a Volvo now.
You will need to transfer the bracket from your old pump for proper installation.

*edit* The seller sent a replacement pump, and after installing it, it worked way better than the one I originally received. Would recommend for this price and the sellers are very good in making sure its right.
Used oem volvo power steering fluid after flushing all the lines and rack to clean out debris from last power steering pump, but this pump whined instantly on install. Prepped pump with fluid and spun it a few times to make sure it wasn’t dry when it was installed. Pump doesn’t work at all on a cold start until engine is reved up or the pump warms up a little. Amazon wouldn’t let me do a replacement option so I guess I’m going to use it until it doesn’t work and buy another brand.
XC90 –
Professional installed, died after 1 month, no way to contact the seller directly. Learned my lesson, buy OEM or aftermarket from a reputable seller.

Significantly cheaper than OEM. This for correctly on my ’06 XC90 V8. Serpentine belt fit correctly and after flushing the system with new fluid there were no issues on startup. I’ve driven the vehicle about 1000 miles without issue now.
