I’m always skeptical with car parts. My last OEM pump was leaking power steering fluid from the pump casing and making lots of noise, so I bought this as a replacement.
The new pump is great! No leaks, no weird noises, and no issues with my power steering. As far as quality goes, the part looks the same as my OEM part, and fits perfect.
As far as difficulty, it was mostly easy, as long as you have most standard tools. The worst part is the mess you’re probably going to make from spilling power steering fluid everywhere while swapping. It’s a good idea to get a drip pan, lots of towels, and something to plug the hoses whole working.
There was also an oil cooler attached to mine that had to be moved to the new one. It was easy to take off the old one and put on the new one, just made a mess.
I’ve been driving with this pump for a few months and about 5-7k miles already. No issues with it at all, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

First, the pump looks and installs like the factory original. Unfortunately, the quality is what you get for the price. I have installed and bled dozens of pumps. This one, despite proper bleeding, sounds like a jet turbine. I expected it to rapidly fail, but rather than pull it off I decided to see how far it would go. Surprisingly, 3,000 miles later it still works perfectly. The truck just sounds like it’s about to take off into the wild blue yonder! When it fails, I won’t order another.

OEM replacement for 03DD, along with new return hose and high pressure hose made this repair easy and simple. Compared to my local auto parts store which this item was alot more local from them than here on Amazon. Some advice, if you can and the parts you need are available on Amazon get them and do it yourself, you will save lots of money.

So I bought this pump to replace my old pump. The old one had a whine and was leaking. After flushing out the lines and rack I put in new ATF4 that dodge calls. If your replacing your pump. Look at the owners manual to make sure it doesn’t call for ATF or PSF. Wrong fluid or not flushing out the system will cause premature failure. But pump works great and no whine or grinding. Giving 5 Stars.

Another terrible part from A-Premium and another terrible mistake on my part. These parts don’t even work or produce. Junk yard parts are the way to go over these.
