Seemed to work fine until then.

Installed it 3 yrs ago, about 8k miles, the last couple thousand miles it has been inconsistently pumping, assisting the steering. Started leaking a week ago, and just now gave out completely. I suppose if getting 10k miles for $100 is a fair trade, but dont expect much more than that. If you drive more than a few thousand miles a year, get a good one for $250k. Cardone or similar.

Exact fit. Installation was easy. Makes whining noise until it is bled properly. Mine made noise for a couple of days until all the air was bled out.

My original pump was leaking. I’m not planning on keeping my disco for much longer so I went the cheaper route. Well this one doesn’t leak but it squeaks like crazy. I’m almost betting if I put regular power steering in it instead of synthetic it would have been fine.. Roll the dice is what I’m saying.

replaced the pump, hoses, system completely flushed and bled. Pump failed in 3 days after less than 1 hour total driving time. May I just got the lemon, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
