Either get a high pressure hose to go with it or be prepared to reuse your own fitting. I did and it worked out fine but was shocked that old fitting would not release the hose. Good pump though

How can anybody screw up so bad? The shaft on this pump is not the same diameter as the original Ford pulley. I drilled and tapped my original pulley for a set screw, no good, because there is no keyway, another screw up by Ford engineers on this engine, the pulley is pressed on. VERY stupid design. Now I’m waiting for a replacement new pump and pulley. I am 75, have owned many Ford trucks, never ever again because of the numerous design flaws in this truck, engine. I’m going Toyota next time.

It was a real job to change on my 2007 Ford F150 King Ranch 5.4l but it is on and working. Only time will tell so I will let you know if I have troubles with this pump.
