I bought this window regulator for my 135 and ran into three issues with the quality. 1) I used the three provided screws to attach the window motor to the regulator and two broke/wrung-off. Fortunately, there was enough metal exposed that vise-grips could get them out. I used the original steel screws that had no problem. 2) The rear arm has a bracket at the bottom that secures it to the door. This was so horribly aligned that it twisted the whole rail and would have scratched the window had I not noticed and corrected it before reinstalling the window. 3) The sliding retainer nut on the front arm was not threaded properly to the point where the cog/sprocket bolt would not thread in. I had to remove the new one and strip the same part from the old/broken regulator.
All of these issues, while minor (except the threading issue that prevented installation of the new regulator), added considerable time. I should have paid the extra $ and bought something more reliable that wouldn’t have cost me the extra time and effort to make this part work.
UPDATE: After reading my review, the seller reached out and offered me a partial refund to compensate me for my hassle and time with the problematic part. I have changed my rating to 2 stars to reflect the change in value.

Save your money. This part is not adjustable, unlike the OEM part. As such the window whistles at highway speeds and it groans a little when putting the window up.
I’m looking for another part that is adjustable. Waste of time and money.

If you know what you’re doing, then almost any of these will work. The key is to know how to remove the star nut. It is best removed from the back with an Allen wrench. In the photo you can see the Allen wrench with a metal pipe I used for leverage since the star nuts are tight. I would have rated it 5 stars but, some of the parts were made from plastic, whereas the original part had metal pieces. The second picture shows some where they used white plastic, and metal piece from the part I replaced is next to it for comparison. But overall this a good deal and works great so far.

I hesitantly bought this regulator for my 2010 135i, it seemed a lot cheaper than an OEM BMW regulator (usually about $160). Looked a little different out of the box than the stock one I pulled out of my car. Installed this part flawlessly, and it seems to perform great so far (day 1). Will follow up if any issues arise.
