In one of those mysteries never to be solved the four wires to my O2 sensor were cut through and the connector missing completely. This caused a check engine light to come on and the P136, P141 and P161 error codes to be displayed on a OBD II reader. Did my research and settled on this item. I purchased two as I was not certain if the errors were coming from just one O2 sensor (turns out it was just the one). Easy enough to install but removing the old one turned out to be the biggest challenge. Used a technique I’ve used with my brake changes, in the past. Place the proper fitting wrench on the nut or whatever is frozen. Place a solid object under the end of the wrench that has been positioned to turn in the proper direction then slowly lower the vehicle down off the jack. Works every time and the old sensor came right out. The P136 error code was gone as soon as I started the engine and the others may have gone away with time but I simply reset the error codes. I’ve driven over a hundred miles and connected the OBD II to see that all sensors are reset and the green light shows and still no error codes so I’m calling this one fixed for far more than a mechanic would have charged.
