I used this part to fix my car O2 sensor was put on check engine light, and I purchased this part to fix my problem. Now the check engine light is off

I purchased this item after my catalytic converter was stolen, but was not able to installed right away since i had to have surgery and my car was not going to be in use, now that it was installed, which item does fit but does not pass inspection, and i can not returned since the return eligibility has expired.

Looked just like the factory one , plugged in!

Cheap part. Connector does not fit snuggly on 2009 Honda CR-V. Connector has larger openings than original part. Turned off check engine light, installed part and after starting vehicle engine light was back on within 7 seconds. Sensor not only doesn’t work to regulate oxygen-fuel mixture which will damage catalytical converter over time, but vehicle will not pass emissions test. Will buy the more expensive sensor to avoid changing sensor a 3rd time.

I was quoted almost triple the price for this part locally, I’m so glad I found it online. My experience with buying auto parts on Amazon has not been great (since most things are not compatible), but I decided to take another chance since this was super cheap. It actually fit perfectly when I took it to my mechanic and I couldn’t be happier.

Installed this and an upstream sensor a few weeks back. Cleared the check engine light and have had no issues since. The power plug is the only potential issue. The tolerances aren’t quite OEM spec and while it will fit in the plug for the car, I’m worried about waterproofing. I wouldn’t be surprised if a deep enough puddle would short out the contacts inside the plug. I’ll work on sealing the plugs but it remains a potential hazard for anyone looking to buy this product. Other than that, it’s a good low cost sensor that does the job.
