Very impressed by the replacement ease.
One flat head screwdriver to remove the clips on the old lift gate pieces. That step took 5 seconds on each clip there were 2 on each side. First I Supported the lift gate opened with a ladder to rest it on as it is very heavy.
Once the old struts were out each strut took 1 min to install. Extremely easy. Most of the work was getting the ladder support in place.
Amazon product lift gate works like new on my 2011 Ford Edge Limited Edition.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Ford Edge. A flat head screwdriver is all you need to install, plus someone to hold the hatch when you uninstall the old ones. You simply pop off the black bracket around the top and bottom of the old ones and install the new ones in the same position as the old ones were in. Very important to have a friend or spouse to hold the hatch when replacing these supports. I used a broom handle at first, but not the best idea. This hatch becomes verry heavy when not supported.
