Good price and works as it should. Compared to the BMW dealer cost I could replace these every year and still come out ahead in price. Easy to install as well.

Trash. Open and closed hood maybe 3 times before they stopped working. Kept from compressing which could potentially bend your hood if you close it like someone normally would. I should add that the plastic piece holding onto the hood contact point completely broke on the last attempt to close it.

Works very well, in fact just one held the hood up while I changed the other one out. It was a quick and easy job. I will update if they fail so if this isn’t updated all is as new.

fit perfect, really strong and pulls up with ease. my hood used to not stay up, now it does but now i notice my trunk needing assistance to pull up so that is next. great product, highly recommended!

Perfect replacement and way cheaper than the dealer. Supper easy to replace only took a few minutes. They are very strong and have worked great for the month I have had them.

The media could not be loaded.
Product seems slightly longer than original one on car but installed easily without issues. One key difference is it’s pretty stiff such that you have to push to close hood whereas before I would drop hood from 1/2’ to shut it. As you can see in video, it’s got pretty good resistance that when I release it from latch, it pops up by itself. After installing just one of these hood struts, my hood stayed up without issues. Perhaps they’ll mellow out after a while to be more like OEM. Thought others might find this helpful in deciding whether to go forward with purchase or go with OEM.
