I purchased this for my 12 Volvo S60 T6 AWD. I had it professionally installed and it was an easy job, but required some long sockets for the back side. Anyways, after 2 month of driving and working just fine the pcv valve/diaphragm popped and ended up also taking out one of my coil packs in the process. When I took it off, it appeared the valve was stuck and hard to move. Obviously after 2 months, too late to return. So I learned my lesson, there are somethings you can not cheap out on. To me this one of them. So in my opinion this product is garbage.

I ordered the item in August after 2 month of use the item Valve cover with gasket for my Volvo CX60 start making weird noise, by the time I am here to return, the return policy is close. On this ads it said due to high manufacturing standard, it will come with one year quality guarantee, well it didn’t provide me that quality standard after 2 months. I wish I could contact the seller but there is no way….

Over the weekend I replaced the PCV Oil trap and a PCV diaphram in two different P3 T-6 Volvos.
On the XC60, I replaced the entire oil trap with this after market oil trap. In comparing the original oil trap with the replacement they appear identical. The only notable difference is the little ball valve in the after market oil trap is a lightweight green plastic ball where in the OEM oil trap it is a steel ball. In the XC60 removal and reinstallation was a pain, especially the back middle two screws and the back right two screws. Replacement of the oil trap resolved the high vacuum suck on the oil dip stick and enable the car to idle more smoothly. I didn’t have any code set so I can comment on that. On insepction the original diaphram has a small 1/2″ tear in it. Replacing this oil trap took me almost 4 hours to do.
On the other car a S60 T6, I replaced just the diaphram, which also resolved high vacuum suck on the dip stick and improved idle smoothness. As with the above XC60 there weren’t any codes set. This diaphram is couple of 1/4″ tears in it. Replacing the diaphram took about 15 minutes complete.

The PCV took around 30 minutes to install, mostly due to the difficult bolts in the back.
Looks very similar to the original and has been working perfectly for a few months now.
Car starts and idles a bit smoother than before.
