Not sure because the car still not running so it might not even have been this part but it got here fast and it seems of good quality.

Don’t buy it and waste your money I bought 1 n it didn’t fit at all bought another 1 same thing it didn’t fit and yes the product is for that car and year so disappointing
Jeffrey S. DuBose –
I installed this in a Civic and immediately the car went back to driving great. Idled awesome and drove normal. A month and some days after the install the car went back running poorly. I ran a code scanner, and it said the coolant temperature sensor was faulty.
Easy to install, simply unscrew the old one and screw the replacement on.
I will be buying a sensor at a local parts store and see how that works for me. Yes, it is a little higher priced locally, but I am willing to pay a little extra to be able to get it warrantied if it fails.

Fit perfect, fixed problem and delivered on time!!
vanessa rodriguez –
I put it in and the issue still is going on so took it back out. Not sure if it’s defective or if it’s the car with another issue.

Had to pull it back out in peices

This ECT sensor is advertised as a “Amazon Confirmed Fit” for 2000 Acura TL by Amazon’s vehicle check and the product description says it’s for TL 1995-2003; however, it does not fit. The electrical connector does not click into the clip/lock of connector due to the black portion being about 1 mm longer than the original sensor. Very disappointed and can’t return it since it’s past the 30-day window.
Warmsound –
It was rough starting and the temperature gauge was not working on my 1996 Honda Accord. I purchased this unit and replaced the ECT sensor under the distributor. Now the temperature gauge is working and the car starts right up. Be careful when tightening it in. I installed it hand tight then used a 19mm socket wrench to give it another 1/8 of a turn.
