Perfectly fit for 2021 mitsubishi outlander sport. The car performs better once installed, the old one was so dirty.

The filter itself seems to be of good quality, but the ridge is slightly thicker than the original and the dimensions of the ridge are slightly bigger. While it technically “fits”, the housing does not close together as well as the original and it is causing a slight evap leak warning light. I will be purchasing a different filter that will hopefully fit better. This is on a 2014 Outlander Sport.
While no fault of this filter, in general the installation of an air filter in the 2014 Outlander Sport is the most difficult of any vehicle I have every owned. Something about how the housing fits together and how it sits in the vehicle.

Perfect fit and easy to replace in a 2015 Outlander Sport. Don’t over pay at the dealership or mechanic and replace it yourself for a fraction of the price.
