Jae Shim –
It doesn’t fit my 2007 miata. Struggled over an hour to realize it is too big.
Amy –
Was running a K&N but supplied too much air and caused engine light to come on repeatedly. Took years to figure the cause. This filter solved the problem and my Miata now runs great.
Marc Lee –
Works the same as the original. No complaints.
Amazon Customer –
Fit fine in a 2013 MX-5. If the air box won’t close, you need to make sure the filter is aligned and the bottom clips/hinges are in the right spot
Jason –
Fits better than the wix filters do with the correct square edge.

I see that other miata owners have rated this low because of fitment problems so I was prepared to do some modifications, however it fit perfectly on my 07 nc1. I removed both halves of the airbox to check the fit and I could easily install the filter and snap the halves together. The problem is I could not install the assembled airbox in the car because of interference. Some fiddling is required to align the filter and install the engine side of the airbox but it can be done.

I ordered this filter for my 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring and received it yesterday. After removing the old filter and vacuuming the filter box, this new filter was installed in less than a minute. Highly recommended.

Takes a bit of work to get it in but so does an OEM. but much less expensive.
