I bought this and in June thinking I can save some money
After 2 months the unit broke
There was no warranty that I could find on it but Amazon let me return the broken item and refund me my money.
I will never buy a cheap Chinese after market product for my car again.
I ordered today at Honda and it cost me $271
I have to pay labour 2 times now and the time
Amazon customer service was very good and I will continue shopping with them.

The harness is going the wrong way? It will plug but has to be forced and not clipped properly. Dorman makes the OEM

Works great. Fast and quiet. Good price. 4 stars as harness a little short and design not improved where the cables attach to the mechanism. Cables lock into a plastic piece, not to metal. I think the more expensive Dorman brand may use a different method. But this is good enough for now. Has been installed for two months.

There’s no reason to buy this regulator. It was easy to install in my 2006 Element and seemed to work fine for about 10 months before breaking. I tried to contact Amazon customer service and the manufacturer but by the time I messaged them, it was outside the warranty period, so I’m basically screwed. The manufacturer never even got back to me.
There’s no reason to waste your money on this when it breaks in less than a year. This is the PASSENGER side, by the way, and I don’t usually drive with someone in the car, so it broke in probably less than 100 uses. Absolute garbage.
If I get contacted by customer service after this, I’ll update the review. Otherwise, don’t even waste your time and money on this crap. Buy another brand or see a mechanic. Yeah, it costs more but that’s what I’m going to have to do anyway. At least you can save $50.
EDIT: The manufacturer got back to me after I posted my review and offered me 15% off a replacement. Wrong answer lol. After taking the regulator out, I found the problem: this cheap plastic crap broke after a few months. So I guess, 1 star it is! If you buy this brand’s trash after reading this, you only have yourself to blame.
