The evap and fuel port are on opposite sides. The vent line goes to filler neck wasn’t drilled out. It doesn’t pump any fuel.

This fuel pump was a perfect fix for my car 06 Pontiac Montana I did order 2 and this one was the exact fit the other although it said compatible it truly was not…

I purchased this for my 81 year old father. He paid $100 to a friend who is also a mechanic to put it on today. After getting it on the car, my father was able to drive a short distance before the car stalled 3 times. He got it restarted and, thinking perhaps there w s just some air in the system that had to work itself out, he continued to drive home. He ended up stalling out on the highway– from which he had to be towed. Thankfully, he made it back home safely. Now he has to buy another fuel pump– a quality one this time– which will cost a couple hundred dollars and pay his mechanic friends another $100 to put that one on. The company that sold this shouldn’t be allowed on Amazon. Amazon isn’t guiltless– it did absolutely nothing to resolve this situation. This could have needed much differently and VERY badly. I would avoid this seller like the plague- at all costs. And don’t let your elderly family members buy from them if you care about their health and well being.
