Open box and Float sending unit is missing

Don’t be fooled, this sending unit doe not fit a corvette….it isn’t close to the original, quality is very poor. If you want a proper replacement I suggest you go else where and save your money and time waiting for this piece of garbage. Shame on Amazon for letting misleading auto parts like this on their site, this isn’t the only auto part listed wrong for corvettes….do your research before buying.

I bought this for a 1999 Corvette FRC. Finally was able to install the unit this past Sunday. First – this is a very noisy pump. Second – my gas gauge acted funny as it showed “full” at startup several times. On day four, the gauge dropped from 1/2 to empty during a five mile drive. When I tried to fill-up, I was only able to add half the fuel that I normally do and the gauge only showed a 1/2 tank. I do not recommend this unit.
