Did not fit my 2014 Mini Cooper S F57, flange was to thick making it impossible to install retainer clip. Pain to figure this out after you have things all pulled apart and cant finish job. Returned. Ordered replacement from Mini Cooper of Fort Myers.

Not a correct size..need to make in proper shape and fix.Also does not come with oring.

This sensor is not the right size / thickness, the body that is supposed to fit down in the thermostat housing was to thick. So the retaining frame broke as I tried to install the retaining clip. Resulting in the purchase of a new thermostat housing. I am not sure if I did something wrong how ever I did check and make sure there was only one O ring if any of you were wondering. And when I got the new housing it came with a new sensor and it appeared to be thinner then the other so this is why I’m writing this review this way. Good luck with your future projects just be cautious.

My wife’s car had a check engine light on and my mechanic told me to replace my coolant sensor.
After reviewing, i bought this one on Amazon a few weeks ago for a low price. After installation, my check engine light stayed on and also her fan stayed on after turning car off. I decided to purchase the original part from mini and all problems were solved.
Not sure if i had a defective sensor but…can’t give it 5 stars.

Its is virtually impossible to get the clip back in while the thermostat housing is attached to the engine. If I am pulling the housing, I will just replace the entire housing. Waste of money.

Fan was running on daughters Mini with engine cold/ignition off. Replacing sensor solved that issue, this was a perfect replacement sensor at 1/4 price local auto store wanted.
