These are true to size and exactly as expected. I’ve only been using them for 3 months now so can’t speak to longevity but they’re a great replacement so far.

I bought these to replace the struts on my tool chest, which started leaking. These are a little stronger than the ones I had previously so they lift the lid quickly, and the lid stays up until I close it. Easy install and just what I needed.

I have a very large Kirkland Signature 2-part tool chest, with a lid that is supported by these lifts. Over the years the top has begun to fall quickly the last 6 inches of closure. Replaced with these lifts …..arrived as described, and snapped into place in about 5 minutes, and lid works like new. We’ll see how they hold up, but thus far, very satisfied.

I bought these for a tool box I bought at Costco a few years ago. Other than the length, I had no idea of what pressure to get. I took a chance and they worked perfectly. This was a double, top and bottom, SS Costco tool box.
Born & raised in Iowa, can’t get used to the weather. –
But, is that a problem? I don’t know. Maybe it is a plus for longevity? Don’t know. What I do know is the installation was super quick. Fast delivery too, for that matter. It fit right onto the studs on my topper. Which is a CMI truck cap. So apparently I measured right. And the fit is perfect. The back window works like it should. I guess, “so what” if the cylinders don’t LOOK as beefy as the replaced parts.

I used them on a U.S. General 5 drawer toolbox. Fit fine. They are a little too long, so the lid opens past straight. Also, the lid pops up when closed without being latched.

bought this pack of 2 even though I only needed one to replace the one on the door of my john Deere Backhoe, so much cheaper than the one from John Deere and it fitted perfectly.
