Replaced my lift motor, hooked up the computer, checked the linkage and nothing worked. It would try to open but sound like there was not enough power. Turns out it was this, the old ones sensor failed and couldn’t detect if the gate was open of not so would not send full power to the lift motor. Replaced this and all is good. It was an easy 30 minute install. This was say easier to replace than tearing the whole left side apart to do the motor. This was installed in a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali

If your door sounds like it wants to lift open but does not, this is the part you need! Yes the latch assembly is what is causing the issue, not the lift gate motor on left side of suburban. Very easy repair, plenty of you tube videos. Took about 15 minutes. Will update post if there is any longevity issues.

This item 931-107 has a 6 wire connector. 931-299 has a 4 wire connector. Confirm which one you need before ordering because either one will show as compatible for 2007-2017 Chevy Suburban, etc.

Power lift gate stopped working on our Escalade. Google searched possible issues and found this part may fail on our truck. This replacement fixed our problem. Watched a few video’s on how to DIY and it was very simple.
