Cracked very quick after install

While you get just the rubber accordion boot… it worked out perfectly for a very tight spot in my 1979 4X4 El Camino. Had to make my own boot retainer ring using 5052 aluminum plate, and it worked out perfectly. The boot rubber is very flexible and won’t cause your transfer case (or transmission) shifter to “pop” out of gear selection. Some rubber boots with stiff overly thick rubber can be notorious for that. This is NOT one of those. As in the story of Goldilocks & the 3 Bears… this one is just right.
