Ours failed and left us on the lake, after bench testing to confirm it was the float switch contacted Mercury for a new switch, over $200 and approx 3 weeks. Needless to say this was a great buy, perfect fit and arrived in 3 days. Spent the rest of the summer on the water not a trailer!

Good working float switch. Uses limited only by your imagination. (and amperage rating, of course)

The saga of getting this part is crazy! This little part crapped out on our boat in July of 2020. Because of supply chain issues, the part was very difficult to find and then when it did come in it was wired incorrectly. The way it was manufactured meant you would have to destroy it to rewire it. Fast forward…four more switches, months and months of waiting on each one, and almost three years later… I finally got this one. It is still the same part, but made differently now. No longer a solid, poured rubber part you could actually take it apart and rewire it if you had to. Three years of not being fully able to use a very expensive toy was no fun. This little baby has caused a lot of angst to a lot of boaters in May of 2020. Today, I am excited to say that I can now get the boat back in the water and go as far, as fast, and as long as I want!

While it is the perfect fuel tank sensor for Mercury/Mariner motors, it is only for the lister motors. It is not for all Mercury motors.

$100 less than anyone else looks to exactly the same

This float switch was a perfect replacement on our Mercury 90 Four Stroke. Solved the fuel delivery problems we were experiencing at a reasonable price.

This is exactly what I needed. I watched a utube video and then I ordered the float . Part showed up in just a few days. Install went great and took the boat out for a trial run , 35 miles and not even a hiccup.
