This cap is a good replacement for OEM but I noticed gas smell near the gas door after driving around
I tighten it up again so hopefully it was just loose
I’ll update after a few more weeks of usage

After driving around for a few weeks. My check engine light came on and I noticed gas small by the gas door
Its not sealing nicely so I put my old one back

I ordered this for my 2000 Toyota MR2 spyder. It fit. But after a week of driving, I had a code. We red the code and it indicated the gas cap was not tight or missing. I ordered a Toyota gas cap, and after clearing the code, it has not come back. I suspect poor quality in the aftermarket gas cap caused it not to seal correctly, and the code was a result. But it did fit. It looked fine. Order at your own risk.
