I bought two of these for my children to use in their cars. Neither car has a screen so this has been great for them to use as they are both on the road a lot. My son says it was the best gift he received. 10/10 would definitely buy again – and I did!

This works well and I like the additional options that can be customized. The different audio connections make this functional in any car. Set up was easy – I haven’t decided if I’m going to continue using so I haven’t installed the backup camera yet. My main issue is the screen quality. The screen catches a glare in the day light at almost any angle. I find it hard to see the screen, but the map navigation is by far the worst part. The colors are so washed out it’s hard to distinguish between lanes/roads on busy highways. Forget about seeing any color differentiation on the maps. I prefer using my phone just for the screen clarity of the map navigation. I’d rather have the screen from a 15 year old Garmin gps. May shop around and try another; may just live with my phone and wait till I get a new car.

Backup Camera: The Best Addition!
While the stereo installation was a breeze, the backup camera setup took a little longer. Since my Mercedes isn’t the easiest to disassemble, running the wiring inside was a challenge. However, after watching a few YouTube videos, I figured it out. The effort was absolutely worth it!
Once connected to the reverse light, the backup camera worked flawlessly. I’ve wanted this feature for so long, and at one point, I even considered selling my car just because it lacked a backup camera. The Wireless CarPlay feature has proven to be a cost-effective solution for modernizing my car’s audio and navigation system, the seemless touch and large screen size makes it easy to navigate. eliminating the need for a complete stereo replacement. Setting it up is incredibly straightforward, and my phone connects automatically every time I enter the vehicle.
While the surface mount included didn’t work well for my needs, I appreciated that it also came with a second mounting option, allowing for easy installation on the windshield. Additionally, the backup camera that comes with the system enhances safety and simplifies the reversing process. However, I did notice that the image quality can be somewhat dark, and installation challenges may arise depending on the chosen location within the car
