I didn’t care for the design of the contacts holder. The good side is that the holder is a flat piece of (seems like ) fiberboard, which I think has better high temperature properties than plastic. ? My original holder was molded plastic that kept the contacts well separated and prevented the spring from touching the contacts, but the “brake” contact had melted into the plastic to point of losing contact.
I just used the fiberboard piece from this part on top of the old plastic part to make it all work without the fear of accidental short circuits..
I had to cut the old wires and feed them through the fiberboard, then through the plastic part and solder them back together.
