ANoyola –
I recently bought a 2009 Chevy Cobalt that kept going through head-light bulbs. After researching the vehicle a bit, I found some forums online that talked about issues with the design of the headlight assembly (out of factory) that causes moisture to enter the assembly and oxidizes the connections. That being said, a user on there mentioned he took his car to a mechanic who charged him around $100 to fix it by replacing the assembly. I opted to buy the part and try it myself, despite my lack of vehicle knowledge. This was honestly a 2-3 minute fix and I don’t trust any sort of mechanical or electrical work to myself. I strongly recommend this product. Very affordable and easy to install. I think it takes longer to unscrew the bolts and remove the fixture than to actually replace this part.
If you have the same vehicle, you’re probably having issues with the rear passenger windows and the front passenger window as well. They probably go down, but don’t work to go back up. The assemblies on those might need to be replaced as well.

problem solved. perfect

The signal plug socket didn’t fit the headlight housing I had to file housing to make it fit

The only issue I have with this is that it doesn’t fit my 06 Cobalt. I had to modify the blinker light plug to fit in the headlight housing. Aside from that it’s just fine.

Easy to install, works like a charm on my 2006 Chevy Cobalt

Well, it worked for my 2008 Pontiac G5 plugged into main harness all was good until I got too the signal light plug which would not fit into the lens hole. I did make sure before I ordered that it was a Amazon “confirm fit” application. They’re factory lenses on the car.
So make sure you look up part number’s and such before buying too confirm fitment.
