this was considerably cheaper than the part store version. first one i received cracked on the test ride was replaced with no issues second seems to be holding strong. even with changing it out it was worth it

Had a friend a professional mechanic install it on my 2006 trailblazer XLT ..he said driving in auto often messes up front differential seen it a lot he tells his clients to only drive in 2 wheel or 4 wheel because in auto going down the road every bump turns the four wheel on and off wearing out faster and can damage the front differential…he installed the part but said it was not fixed the front differential did not lock in …but no lights or codes show up and it stayed in 2 wheel…I got it home played with switch going from two wheel to 4 wheel only one afternoon then it started to snow and my fiance remembered what are mechanic friend said about use only 2 wheel to 4 wheel on selecter and it kick in and now is working excellent…….and we are following are mechanic friend also ny state safety inspection license holder told us …says please don’t use auto mode any more stick with 2 wheel and 4 wheel on selecter in switch in side cab …now working excellent…just in time have been getting lots of snow ……ps ….this sellers prices are excellent local AutoZone and advanced auto parts stores all want over 250$….and junk yards wanted 15o$ used with only 3o day warranty his prices are wonderful for hard working folks
