I’ve always found the nozzles on most fuel containers incredibly frustrating—spills, leaks, and just a general headache. So when I saw this Gas Can Spout Replacement Kit offered through Amazon Vine, I jumped at the chance to try it, and I’m so glad I did.
This kit comes with everything you need to fit almost any fuel container, large or small. I tested it on a 5-gallon kerosene container (same design as a 5-gallon gas can) and a 1-gallon gasoline container. Both setups are leak-free and and as far as I can tell, vapor-free. The kit also includes a drill bit and hardware for adding an air relief opening to make pouring smoother. I haven’t installed this yet since I don’t want to drill while there’s fuel in the cans (and I definitely don’t want plastic shavings in my gas), but I appreciate that this feature is included. I’ll be adding it once the cans are empty.
Honestly, these spouts are a godsend. I despise—truly despise—the standard spouts that come with today’s fuel containers. Some engineer might have thought they were making things safer, but all they did for me was create a mess and a hassle. This kit solves all my problems and makes refueling so much easier. Highly recommend!

Comes with several different thread options, and includes the drillbit you need to drill out the vent.
The coarse threaded cap and spout lid worked well for me, but I did find that I could not store the filler end inside of the gas can, as my gas can has a receptacle inside the can that prevents it from seating down fully. Bummer.
However, it includes a screw-on cap for the flexible filler end as well, so you can just store the can with the filler attached, and the lid on the filler end.
The color (bright yellow) looks a little funny on my blue kerosene jugs, but eh, that doesn’t matter really.
Worth the purchase to get rid of the annoying mandatory ventless gas cans / retrofit them with a vent.

I got this Gas Can Nozzle Replacement 1 Kit, Bendable Fuel Can Spout Replacement, With a Yellow Gasoline Cap, Flexible Pour Nozzle as I accidentally broke the cap of my 1.5 gallon can.
The kit comes complete with several caps and accessories to accommodate your need. I used the coarse thread cap and inserted the spout, and it sat very well. I did not like the spout cap as it does not have anything to affix it to the spout so the chances of losing it are high. I tried to use the gas cap vent B that comes in the kit and could put the ring on the spout, but the cap could be inserted with difficulty as I needed to apply some pressure and end up breaking the ring. So, I went back to use the original spout cap which closes tight with no leakage, and I may need to adapt a nylon cord to keep it safe.
The vent cap A was easy to insert using the drill bit that comes in the kit.
Overall, a very affordable quality kit, that just need a little tweak to secure the spout cap to make it great.

These things are excellent! My gas cans work so much better now. The environmentally friendly spouts spill more than the fumes they allegedly prevent. With these and the air vents I hardly spill any and they pour fast. It’s also nice the there are both size cap threads. Good quality.

This kit allows for several different combinations in order for you to convert your otherwise “terrible to use” gasoline can over to a new spout, vent, and / or cap.
If your gas can already has a vent, new caps are included for it. Or if you require a new vent, the kit comes with a very handy drill bit and push-in, covered vents with integrated caps.
The kit will fit either “course” or “fine” threaded gas cans depending upon what yours may be.
In either case, there is provision for a new spout and cap for your gasoline container.
You should be able to convert 2 gasoline cans over to a new spout and cap, using the parts provided.
And finally, there’s also a 2 smaller caps for if you want to store your can(s) with their new spout always on them, which fits the threads around the top of each new spout.
It’s a good quality kit and includes all the necessary gaskets as required.
Many (all, if in California) gasoline containers sold today, are all but “unusable” without converting away from their integrated spouts. Which will just plain save you “a whole bunch of difficulty” when attempting to use them. This kit fixes all of that for you!
