This is a great backing pad. I use it on my 8″ grinder to polish rocks. It’s the perfect size, and have had no problems with sanding pads staying on.

Purchased this to use with my 7” variable speed right angle buffer with 5/8” shaft. This fits 5” backing pads and hook and loop wet and dry sanding discs. I have about 40 hours use of heavy duty sanding and buffing both wet and dry at different speeds. Stays locked on and easy to apply and remove. This will be one of those tool attachments that will most likely outlive the tool it’s used on. I highly recommend!
