I’ve had a lot of chargers over the Years. so far.
This is the worst one I’ve bought. The battery connection cables are cheap and flimsy. And The Wire is very small. I think it’s 14 gauge. The power cable has no ground plug. And I don’t know if it’s waterproof if a little water gets on it. Will it short out? I don’t know, I’m not gonna Try it. The front panel Is nice looking. has a 6 V 8 V 14 V 12 V and 24 V. Selector in switch. And?
It has a fast charge and an intelligent charge. I don’t know how this is going to work until I test it on my truck’s battery. It has a one page manual that shows how you can hook up 2 batteries at 24 V.
All all not impressed with this.

This worked perfectly on 8 volt golf cart batteries. It charged them from less than 4 volts to 8 volts in just a few hours. With the multiple settings this is a very versatile battery charger.

Works as it should if you know how to work it the selection is not working the way you think it should turn off the unit and disconnect the battery and start over selecting Your settings

Chargers have to be smart these days. Small and yellow are also high on my list of requirements, as yellow catches my eyes quickly. The only thing that i find limiting is the fact only one type of charger clips are included and are hard wired to the unit. Other than that, it is usable on old conventional batteries and AGM types that require variable current to keep them happy. still, 5 stars!

I have a Husqvarna lawn tractor I use for mowing and pulling a big trailer around. I drive it hard. I crash it, I bang it, I break it.
As some point I’ve broken just the right amount of stuff so that the battery no longer charges when I use the tractor. This battery tender is perfecto for resolving that issue. I attached the clamps to the correct terminals and powered it on. I like that it auto selects whatever it needs to charge and maintain the battery.

This is the best battery charger, it gives you the 8 volt battery option, great for golf cart batteries. I am buying a second one, just for backup!
