The entire reason for ordering this as a kit was too have the proper socket to complete the installation, AND IT DIDN’T FIT!!! Not only did it not fit the OEM valve coming off the truck, it didn’t even fit the new valve that it came with!!!!
I ended up having to buy an oversized adjustable wrench and it took about an hour making 1/8 turns in such a tight spot.
Looking at the socket, it just wasn’t machined to spec, meaning it was probably 0.05” too small, but making it an absolute waste of metal and money!
The only good news is that after costing me about 2 hours and some bloody knuckles, the valve did work for what k needed, although, I do get an occasional DTC for the sensor. Definitely won’t be buying this product again.

Have an F350 SD 6.0l. It was hard and annoying to get the old one out but the socket that came with it was a really big help! And the sensor works good.

Installed the IPR and the truck fired right up. Went thru the procedures that are called for and then took the truck for test ride. We went 7 miles and the truck started acting up. Made it back to shop and the truck died and would not restart. Took IPR out, went and bought $300 IPR, installed and truck has run great . Thought we could save some money for customer but ended up costing us.

06 F-350 6.0, This was Installed to test old valve, but this one would not even start the truck. I have the socket, so I try to remove the valve and only the half came out!! What!!! This is the second one that I bought from amazon and the second one that failed. It was the same valve just different name on seller ship by Amazon. These POS valves don’t work period.
BTW If you have gotten one stuck in the HPOP and you don’t know what to do. I have used red thread lock on the valve screwed it back on, left overnight then removed like normal valve. It works but throw away the valve. Good luck
