Bought this after my 2012 Audi Q5 popped a check engine light. I knew from past experience that the likely cause could be the gas cap that never seemed to quite right. Perfect fit, nice tight seal and check engine light resolved with about 30 min of driving

Purchased for a 2019 VW Jetta. After 3 weeks the fuel cap came apart. Prior to that the cap would not stay fastened in place. Low quality product. Note to my self, stop buying low quality auto parts from Amazon. Spend the money and get good quality.

DOES NOT FIT 2018 VW TIGUAN as advertised. Did not click and create vapor seal. Product fell apart in my hands when screwing it on the second time. Spring went one direction, gasket another…big mess. I have nothing to return. Amazon (Bezos) should be embarrassed to sell such a piece of crap.

The hook for the tether broke before installation. The thread is very rigid and does not bend properly.

It perfectly fits on my 2017 VW Jetta. It did not trigger the check engine light which was a big worry. After a few months of use, there has been no leaks and it continues to work perfectly. It is made of great quality material and it is a great replacement for the original.

This cap wasn’t too hard to install. The cap is a bit tough to get on and off but this cap was compatible with my 2013 VW Jetta once the old cap seal wore down.
