Very good charger, looks sturdy and the instructions are useful. There are two modes, 36v and 48v, but in the guide on the back of the product you don’t go under 26v as a minimum.

This is simple to use, but if you’re like me, get your reading glasses out. The display is small, so make sure you have it on the correct setting. Other than that, it’s great! Comes with everything you need to charge a battery. Regular type clips, pigtail for more plug in charging. The quality is good and you can charge about any type of vehicle battery. So far I’m very happy. Great price for something that actually works as it should. I’m using it to keep all my batteries, lawn mower (lead), motorcycle(Lifepo), generators(lead) in peak condition.

This little device packs power, safety, and simplicity into one portable charger, whether for me as a DIY mechanic, a car enthusiast, or just for someone who wants their battery ready to go. It’s more than just a trickle charger. It features automatic modes for summer and winter, a pulse repair function to revive sulfated batteries. I got a fully automated experience with a level of customization usually reserved for pricier models, which has great functionality. Honestly, for the features I got, it’s hard to beat this charger as its price point. Strongly recommended!

I ordered this 12/6 volt battery charger specifically to charge 12 volt 5 A LiFePO4 batteries used in my computer UPS devices and home security system. This charger seems well constructed and nicely packaged. It is designed so you can use the included clamps to charge a battery or hard wire to, for example, a motorcycle battery, to easily connect and disconnect as needed. Other desirable features are overcharge protection, battery maintenance, and battery repair functions. One downside to this charger is it cannot automatically select the appropriate charging mode for a battery, so you have to select the correct voltage and battery type before charging or risk damaging your battery. I connected it to one of my batteries, and it does seem to function properly for my purpose.
The product manual says it has a 1 year warranty, but there is no listed manufacturer, web site, or warranty contact information whatsoever. It’s clearly manufactured in China so, like most products from China, it has no genuine product support beyond Amazon’s return window. As long as you can live with the lack of meaningful product support, it’s a pretty versatile, inexpensive charger.

FirstPower Pro 5AMP 12V (2AMP 6V) Battery Charger and Maintainer – Smart Automatic Battery Charger for Car and Motorcycle, Trickle, Battery Repair, for AGM, Lithium (LiFePO4) and Deep-Cycle Batteries.
When I got this charger for review is was a good deal at $33.99.
This charger feels very solid and well built. It weighs about 14oz (396g) not including cables. The cables are a reasonable gauge (18AWG) for a 5A charger and do not feel flimsy or hard. It has a nice backlit display that shows charging mode, voltage, amps, over voltage symbol, battery level (4 segments), temperature out of range symbol, reversed polarity symbol, and a bad battery symbol. It has a “MODE” & “OK” button, along with rubber feet.
The charger comes with two changeable wires, one with a standard set of clamps and the other that is fused (7.5A) with two eyelets. The charger’s cable has a captive plug cover and so does the cable with the eyelets. The AC power cable is 68″ (172cm) to the plug and the charging cable is 58″ (147cm) to the plug plus 16″ (40cm) to the clamps or plus 19″ (48cm) to the eyelets. The fuse is in the positive line and is replaceable. The distance between clamps (or eyelets) can be increased by splitting (pulling) the black & red wire apart (right back to the plug if needed). It is also provided with mounting screws, and a manual.
The clamps had no problems staying on my car’s charging points or on the F2 lithium (LiFePO4) battery terminals.
It did a good job of recharging my car battery (after I had run it down from doing something else) and charged at just over 5A (according to the display) without getting warm. (& made no noise)
I also recharged one of my LiFePO4 12V batteries and it completely stopped charging when the battery was full like it should. The current draw from the battery was only 0.3mA when on standby (or disconnected from AC). The charger started automatically after connected or when “OK” was pressed.
I found that the Voltage is about 0.2V lower than shown and the Current is about 0.2A higher than shown which isn’t really a big deal. (This was in lithium battery mode, but is likely the same in all modes.)
I don’t currently have a pb battery to test the repair function or a battery between 0.6V-2.2V to test the Loading (forced) mode. I will update if either mode doesn’t work as intended.
I found this charger to be a good 5 star value.

I have a small battery charger at home and since we live in a cold climate, I wanted to get another to have a spare in case the first one gives out. When I saw this one, I decided to order it and give it a try. I actually like it more than the old one and am using this one as my primary!
The battery charger comes in a medium sized cardboard box. Inside the box you have the battery charger, a set of cables with eyelets at the end, and a set of cables with clamps at the end. Since I’m using this for car batteries, the cables with clamps is the set that I used. There’s a hard wired power cable on one end that you plug into a standard outlet to turn the unit on, while the connector for the battery cables is on the other end. The connector is pretty stiff but once you have the cables connected you’re good to go.
There’s no power button as the unit turns on when you plug it into the wall, and if you have the clamps connected to a battery it will show the current voltage immediately. The Mode button cycles through the battery types and I used the 12V setting since that’s what I had. When you press the OK button, it starts charging and will stop when it’s full. If your battery needs repair, you hold down the Mode button and an amber 12V icon will come up to show that it will attempt to repair the battery.
As far as information during the charge, there are several icons that can appear on the top left to tell you what is going on. Reverse polarity, overheating of the unit, and “battery not repairable” are some of the icons you might see. During my test charge, everything went well so no warnings came up.
Overall, this is a great battery charger and I ended up liking it more than my old one. This is what I’ll be using to charge up batteries on the cars over the winter and I’ll keep my old one as a spare. If you’re looking for a simple but effective battery charger, I can recommend this one!

This charger is compact but incredibly powerful—charged my car battery way faster than expected. I love that it works with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, making it super versatile for all my vehicles. The pulse repair and force mode features are game-changers for reviving weak or nearly dead batteries. Plus, the safety features and seasonal modes give me total peace of mind—highly recommend!
