Coil/module fits and works perfectly on a 57 year old 1967 model Cooper lawn edger with 2 1/2 HP Briggs engine. No need for peg to hold governor vane — bolt to engine holds it very securely without peg.

After installation, my lawn mower could only cut short grass without stalling. The coils voltage output was a fraction of the OEM coil. 10 months later, I go to start my now, very weak mower and I get no spark at all. I wasted $13.79 and time.
