For the super inexpensive price of this aluminum washer assortment, if it saves just one trip to the hardware store or dealer parts department, it literally pays for itself.
Excellently diverse, this box of washers supplies almost each of the inner diameter washers in two different outer diameters, giving you a choice of wide or narrow sealing surface. Made of relatively soft aluminum, these washers are great for oil drain and fill plugs on vehicles and machinery or for use on case bolts of magnesium housings to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Although the storage box has “living” hinges which will eventually tear, it is well labeled and a very convenient size to store all the washers. Since aluminum is not as malleable as copper and cannot be annealed, I don’t recommend reusing these after they have been crushed, but for the price, it’s an obvious choice,

Rather than buying individual washers and hoping the local auto parts store stocks your size, get this kit! Each washer turns out to cost a few cents rather than $1-2 each from the store, not to mention the time and gas it takes to get there.
They crush as expected and I haven’t noticed any leaks. Don’t risk reusing old crush washers and just get this kit.

My husband is an auto mechanic and we ordered these for him to use at his shop. The selection is great. The pieces are exactly as described and they come in a nice storage box. I would highly recommend as this is a huge selection of washers and comes with the storage container.

These are crush washers. They are aluminum. These aren’t as thick or wide as another pack I have. But this has much more sizes. Will probably only use this if this is only size I have. Still a good find and a good deal for som many different sizes.

Any gearhead should have this- but certainly any shop that works on anything with engines. It got to the point with multiple cars and motorcycles, ATV’s etc around the house- they all require crush washers on the drain plugs. Anything with oil in it, most likely. Just yesterday this kit proved worthy for the obscure size drain plug washer needed for my wood chipper. For the price of four or five washers individually, one can have a whole kit with every size you’re likely to ever see- and no trips driving into town when you realize you don’t have the correct size.
I’ll never worry about not having the proper drain plug washer- and these also work in other situations where a slightly soft washer is desired, as they’ll deform a bit and seal up connections involving tubes, hoses, pipes, banjo bolts, and even brake bleeders.
Basic satisfaction with no problems is a three star review, and only products which demonstrate exceptional value and quality score above three for me. This is getting a four, as it represents a ridiculously convenient and inexpensive option compared to purchasing drain plug washers individually or even in small numbers. This kit is excellent.
