This looked identical to the broken one I removed. The welded nut was straight and this took 30 seconds to install. It did slightly dampen driveline vibration. Most people would probably not notice it missing.
Woodbrook Garage –
This is one of those things you may not even know you need until you take a good look at the underside of your Element. It’s an easy fix and very well may get rid of that little annoying vibration you noticed on turns. If your Element is getting up there in milage, take a peek over your rear differential and check out the condition of this part. You may even find that it fell off at some point. This is a one bolt repair that will take you just a few minutes.
