I ordered this relay to replace my existing one, as I use both halogens and LEDs for my turn signals. Previously, when the halogens came loose, the LEDs would flash rapidly.
Installation was straightforward—I followed a YouTube tutorial. The relay is located behind the fuse panel near the steering wheel. When looking at the fuse panel from the driver’s side, imagine it extending about two inches further left. The flasher is positioned behind that extension, near the footbrake – not easily accessible from the access panel.
This relay fits perfectly and ensures my turn signals flash at a steady, consistent pace, even without halogen bulbs installed. Great solution!

It’s a solid state flasher, literally plug and play. And I mean that literally.
On my old 2nd gen Ram, the flasher is accessed from the driver’s side of the dash behind a small panel. No crawling underneath to find it, you can see the panel as soon as you open the door.
Pull the old one out (mine was stiff from being in 26 years), plug the new one in and away you go.
