I ordered. It came in a reasonable time, the price was good, it installed with no problems and most importantly it worked. But that should not be amazing and deserve 5 stars, that is only what is expected. I have had it installed about 10 days, we will see how it is in 2 years

Very disappointed with this item, I bought this about 2 months ago and it worked fine, tested it the day I bought it and then needed to use 4wd 1 time about 3 weeks ago and it worked. then about 5 days ago I needed 4wd due to a large snow storm and it quit working leaving the truck in 2wd. took the unit off the transfer case and checked to make sure the transfer case would cycle through the gears manually and it did. plugged shift motor back in and hooked up a test light to it, when I attempted to shift out of 2wd the motor was getting power but not moving… definitely a dead motor. I tried to start a return for this because it should work more than 4 or 5 times in only 2 months and the seller has not responded to my request for a return. this is unacceptable, I don’t expect this type of part to last forever but come on… 2 months and it’s dead?

Was able to install without pulling front drive line, pretty easy
cheap screws and stripped when trying to inspect the sensor

It arrived in a sealed box, but upon opening it had greasy smears all over it, like it had been previously handled. Once old unit had been removed from vehicle, these units were lined up for a side by side comparison. The units are keyed for the shaft on the transfer case, and the keyways were in different locations. The transfer case had been placed in neutral before removing old motor. These new motors SHOULD arrive set to neutral!!!!!!! This one was not. One is not supposed to run these units without them being bolted in place as damage can occur. I decided to plug it in and see what position it was in, thinking I might be able to reinstall old unit to change out of neutral to what ever position this new one was in. Once applying power to vehicle, all lights turned off on 4WD selector panel and Service 4WD appeared on drivers information center, which means that this unit was bad out of the box! Grrrrrrrr! Now my vehicle is NON drivable until I get this unit returned and a new unit shipped here! Not happy about this at all.

Easy to install if you have the proper tools , back to perfect running condition , if need a how too, you can always look up a how too on u tube good luck
