Here’s a review of the 4AWG Battery Cable with 3/8 in Lugs from Both Ends:
Pros:
Pure Copper Construction: These battery cables are made from pure copper, which offers excellent conductivity compared to other materials like aluminum. This ensures efficient power transfer with minimal loss, making them ideal for high-current applications.
4AWG Gauge Size: The 4AWG gauge size is suitable for handling moderate to high current loads, making these cables versatile for use in automotive, solar, marine, RV, and motorcycle applications. They provide a balance between flexibility and current-carrying capacity.
Heavy-Duty Lugs: The cables come with 3/8 inch lugs on both ends, which are commonly used and provide a secure connection to battery terminals or other electrical components. This standard lug size ensures compatibility with various equipment and installations.
Red and Black Color Coding: The red and black color coding helps distinguish between positive and negative terminals, facilitating easy and correct connections during installation and maintenance.
Durability: Designed for durability, these cables are resistant to wear, corrosion, and abrasion, ensuring a long service life even in demanding environments such as marine or automotive applications.
Cons:
Length Limitation: The specified length (2 feet) may not be sufficient for all installations or configurations, depending on the distance between the battery and the connected equipment. Ensure the length meets your specific needs before purchase.
Flexibility: While 4AWG cables strike a good balance between size and flexibility, they may be less flexible compared to higher gauge wires, which could affect ease of installation in tight spaces or complex routing scenarios.
Terminal Fit: Verify that the 3/8 inch lugs fit securely onto your battery terminals or other connections, as compatibility can vary depending on the specific equipment and terminal sizes.
Overall Assessment:
The 4AWG Battery Cable with 3/8 in Lugs offers excellent conductivity, durability, and versatility for various automotive, marine, RV, and solar applications. With pure copper construction and heavy-duty lugs, they ensure reliable power transfer and secure connections. The red and black color coding enhances usability, while the durable construction ensures longevity in challenging environments. Ensure the length and gauge meet your specific requirements before purchase to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with your electrical setup.

Using these to parallel a set of 280Ah LiFepo4 batteries in my solar system. No heat build-up, running 60 amps into them. Nice and malleable which I always like over some very stiff cables that can be hard to maneuver.
Excellent cables and a good price for 4AWG with lugs already attached.

These cables are good quality and just about the right length to connect a pair of deep-cycle batteries in parallel or to connect that battery pair to a set of terminal blocks. I have a pair of batteries to connect to a charger/inverter that will act as a sump pump backup, and these will fit the bill. They are long enough that I will be able to run them into battery boxes so the battery terminals aren’t out in the open.
I think they are priced fairly, especially since you get to save labor vs. making your own. I’m going to grab a second pair to connect the battery pair to a set of terminal blocks. It’s hard to find cables this long at the parts store around here, so I’m glad Amazon had it covered.

The quality build of these wires is good. I’m not sure on how well they function. I purchased these to wire two travel trailer batteries together and I noticed that the RV is not draining the second battery. I’m not sure if this is an RV issue or an issue with my wires. Everything else about these is good. They were the perfect length and they are strong wires with good quality casings. I will update my review when I get more answers.

I requested the 2 foot, 4 gauge version with the 5/8 diameter terminal as well as the 6 foot version. (Size M10 terminal)
While I couldn’t see the how the ring terminals were attached, I could tell they by the feel were not crimped but soldered/tinned on and covered heat shrink. With my extensive experience and training they are nothing to worry about and I would trust them more than a plain crimped connection. Especially in harsh environments.
The cables are also very flexible and tested great when I joined two batteries in parallel and put them under the load of an AC hooked up to an inverter.
My only concern is that even though the cables seem to be high quality, they have no markings on them to indicate AWG, voltage or current rating.
As I also mentioned the 2 foot version was a bit long from center terminal to center terminal, but the six foot version was at least 1″ shorter than advertised from the end of each terminal to the other.

I ordered these cables for my boat battery connection on fresh water. They are nice quality well built with shrink wrap for a good finish. These cables are flexible and easy to use. I connected them on the screw terminal on the battery, they were a perfect fit. The connectors are smaller than most 4AWG connectors that i have used in the past. The smaller lugs are a nice change from bulky battery connections. The smaller size can be beneficial when trying to stack cables or needing them in a small space like on a starter motor connector where many wires are grouped together. I do not believe the smaller size affects current flow or power. There may be a reason to need larger connectors but i can’t think of one off the top of my head.
OVERALL- 5 stars for quality and innovation

Bought these for a RV battery upgrade project. Worked perfectly. Well-made cables. Nice silver colored ends that do not bend. Solidly welded to the wire and heat shrunk nicely. Waited 3 months before reviewing these cables, and they were worry free so far. They are holding up nicely, and I don’t even think about these anymore. They just work. If you need 4 GA, this is a good option.
